New Student Registration Directions

If you already have an Active Parent account skip step 1 Step 1

Go to lamarcountyschools.org and click on the Active Parent box: https://mslamar.activeparent.net/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f and select “Create an ActiveParent Account / Start New Registration”. Complete the information and click on Create User. Step 2

Log into ActiveParent: (https://mslamar.activeparent.net/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f) with your account and click on the paper/pencil icon at the top right of the screen to start a new registration. Step 3

Select “Want to create a new registration without a code? Click here.” Select the school where your child will attend. Enter your child’s First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth. Select “Create Registration".

Step 4

Select the student you just added from the drop down box and select the correct registration type. Step 5

Select Begin Registration. Complete the registration application and please read each page carefully. You will be required to upload several documents so have those ready in a digital format. If you have any issues or questions please contact the school that your child will attend.

ITEMS NEEDED FOR NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

  • Birth Certificate
  • Form No. 121 Certificate of Immunization Compliance (Shot Record)
  • Proofs of Residence: Please see Residence Requirements

(Please Name/Label Proofs and Include the Year • 2024-2025)

  • Transcript or Last Report Card from the Previous School
  • Photo ID (Driver's License) or Photo (Headshot) of each Parent/Guardian (Please do not add filters.) Photos are highly recommended, but not required

*Free/Reduced Lunch Applications for 24-25 should be filled out July 1st or later.

Get Immunization Records and Print Form 121 Online

Immunization records and the Mississippi school immunization entry form (Form 121) previously required a trip to your doctor or a county health department. You can now look up required immunizations that you or your family members need, and print a Form 121 online if your child is up to date on immunizations. It's free and convenient with MyIR.

MyIR Mobile is available at www.MyIRMobile.com. Parents can visit HealthyMS.com/myIR for guidelines to using this new service.

Mississippi state law requires children to be immunized against childhood diseases to enter public or private school, Head Start or daycare. There is also a vaccination requirement for 7th grade entry. Immunizations are available at county health departments by appointment.
